I may have missed a promo or backstage comments but with Gabe being announced for the steel cage match at forbidden door I find it weird that there has been no resistance from Finlay to Gabe.
Kayfabe wise you would think Finlay would be mad at Gabe for not only helping another faction, but one lead by a guy Finlay was feuding with a little over a year ago. I’m hoping maybe this will lead to a feud between the two with Gabe potentially turning more heel and likewise Finlay more face as he’s been getting more positive reactions from crowd recently throughout the G1.
