Planning to shop around Tokyo (Ginza, Shibuya, etc.) and thinking of bringing a medium-sized luggage to store all my purchases—so I don’t have to carry multiple paper bags. Just one luggage for convenience.
But I’m wondering: Is it okay to roam around the city with luggage? Will stores like Uniqlo, GU, Zara, Don Quijote, and other popular shops allow me inside with it? Also, if I decide to eat afterward, do restaurants usually permit luggage inside?
Need advice because if it’s not allowed, I’ll have to stick with paper bags. Any tips or experiences? Thanks!
