Labor Consultation for Foreign Workers
Dates: September 17 (Wed) & 18 (Thurs), 2025
1:00 pm – 5:00 pm
(Yeah, time is not ideal, unless you are a realtor or hair dresser…)
If you’re experiencing any work-related issues – such as problems with working conditions, dismissal, harassment, resignation, changing jobs, or questions about your visa/residence status – you can speak with consultants face-to-face and all consultations are strictly confidential. I've gone to one (not for foreigners, in Japanese with free legal consultation, it was super useful)
Available on-site:
- Tokyo Labor Consultation Center (Tokyo Metropolitan Government)
- Tokyo Immigration Services Bureau
- Tokyo International Recruitment Navigation Center English and Chinese interpretation available.
If you can’t attend in person, phone consultations are also possible (though the hours are more limited).
