Renting from Toyota – is it worth to pay more for a hybrid?

Hi, I am planning a trip to the Kyushu area in Nov/Dec and will be travelling around by rental car. I am looking at Toyota Rent a Car, and for a particular model there are both hybrid and non-hybrid options available. The hybrid option costs approx 10USD more per day, so I'm wondering if it is worth it? Would 10USD per day for a 8-day rental be offset by greater savings in gasoline usage? Thanks in advance!
