Hi all, as the title states – we're road tripping to Wakkanai so that we can hop on the ferry for a few days to go to Rishiri & Rebun (without the car).
Does anyone have any ideas on where I can leave my car for a few days (4 days 3 nights) in Wakkanai? I tried researching but it's hard to find definitive information:
- I'm seeing there's a parking lot that's 1000 yen per day at the ferry terminal, but I couldn't see if there's a maximum stay
- I'm seeing that there's a parking lot at the michi no eki nearby where a lot of people park their cars for free, but unclear whether they can stay parked overnight for a longer time period.
Anyone have experience in this situation? Thank you!
