Chinese student arrested for allegedly engaging in lewd acts with female high school students to “study Japanese”

A 28-year-old Chinese exchange student, Shu Kahan, was arrested in Tokyo's Kabukicho district. He's accused of paying a 16-year-old high school girl about 15,000 yen to engage in an indecent act at a hotel.

According to police, the two met on social media in December and had met up at least 10 times. When questioned, Shu reportedly admitted to the charges, stating that "obscene acts and conversations with the girl help me study Japanese."
