International Transfer (PHP) to JP Post Bank Account

Hello! I am currently a university student in Japan and my dorm payments are automatically credited to my JP Post account. I was wondering how do I transfer money (Philippine Peso) to my JP Post account? Most suggest through an intermediary channel but it mostly talks about USD and I am quite unsure if its possible with PHP. I was also thinking of doing a direct transfer from my bank but Japan gets iffy with international transfers like these so I just want to be super informed on what my next step will be before I make the transfer!
