Itinerary Check – Tokyo + Hakone – 10 Nights in November

Thank you in advance for any advice or tips. We will be traveling to Japan for my wife's 40th birthday. In many ways this is a bucket list trip, but unfortunately we could not take as much time as we would like this year so we decided to limit the trip to the Tokyo area and devote a future trip to Kansai and Hiroshima.

We are both avid eaters and like to try new things, especially love ramen, sushi, Japanese curry. We both are interested in visiting shrines, historical sites, and museums that explore Japanese history and culture. My wife is a big vintage clothing shopper, while I would like to visit one of the Onitsuka Tiger stores or browse 90/00s Nintendo handhelds/cartridges.

We have the hotels and ryokan booked, but have not finalized how we are getting to and from Hakone, our ryokan is along the Haya River and not by the lake, so wasn't sure what was the best route. We have the end of the trip Disney portion booked up but always like to hear tips there.
