Hi I'm currently planning on traveling south east asia for 6 months Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam and realised flights are as cheap as £86 in somecases with Japan expecting to be more expensive after November 2026 I feel like now is the best time to go there however Japan is significantly more expensive than SE asia. I see capsule hotels for £20 a night net cafes 9 hours for £9 food can be as low as £5. I'd want to Tokyo, Fujikawaguchiko, Osaka, maybe Kyoto but have been told Kanazawa is a better alternative and maybe Hokkaido. Can legally stay in the country for 6 months but would likely be 2-3 months.
