Hi all! My fiancee and I are going from 3/21/26 till 4/17/26 for the Sakura season. I have red quite a lot of information and feel a bit overwhelmed, so trying to figure out if amount of days are fine. Note that we are going from Argentina, so we’ll have 30hs+ travelling and jetlag the first days will be tough. We don’t really mind crowded places (we’ll have some chill time in Miyako)
Leaving Argentina on 21st and arriving in Japan on 23rd…
– Day 1-6 Tokyo
– Day 7 Tokyo >> Hakone. Night stay at Ryokan
– Day 8 Hakone >> Kyoto
– Day 9-13 Kyoto. With day trips to Nara and Kanazawa.
– Day 14-15 Osaka
– Day 16 Hiroshima, staying in Miyajima.
– Day 17 Osaka
– Day 18 Osaka, day trip to Kobe
– Day 19 Flight to Okinawa, Miyako till day 22. 3 full days to chill. Will only visit Miyako unless you recommend another island…
– Day 22 afternoon flight back to Tokyo
– Day 23-26 Tokyo, perhaps a day trip to Nikko? Or it’s better to stay overnight?
– Flight back on day 26 (4/17/26)
Would you recommend trying something else? Maybe less/more days in a big city or perhaps more night in a small town…
Would like to have a full experience ( modern, mountain, beach) as it’s faaaaar away from my country.
Also, i know a few spanish blogs about japan, but which one do you recommend in english? Apart from all the youtube videos available?
