Leaving Japan – How long do I stay in Airbnb

Hi there,

I wasn’t sure how to title this but I will be leaving Japan in a few months.

My main concern is after leaving my current apartment, how long do most people stay in an Airbnb or hotel before actually leaving?

My apartment contract will end on October 31st but I know I will have to schedule gas/water/electricity bills to be paid after I move out?

I also need to cancel my phone contract and close my bank account which I’ve read can be done in one day so it should be quick.

About the tenshutsu todoke I read it needs to be done within 14 days before moving out. Should I fill this form after I have left the apartment?

I’m trying to figure out how many days I should account for after leaving my apartment and actually leaving the country.
