This is from Akura in Murray Hill and this is their sushi deluxe $30. Good no problem with the price. Comes with a spicy tuna roll and miso. This was good quality fish and nice sized pieces, but the garnishes on each piece are just OD. You don’t need uni on tuna with caviar, it just tasted weird. Bitter. And then salmon roe, on top of salmon nigiri. If four of 5 pieces were dressed because it makes sense, no problem, but this was meant to be deliberate. I like to say there’s nothing worse than forced fun and there’s also nothing worse than forced luxury.
