Just moved in a few weeks ago and am looking to set up my internet. I unfortunately don't speak any Japanese, but I would still like a cheap internet provider. Sakura and GTNs' costs are crazy compared to others. I've been told by my coworkers that I can still set up with a Japanese provider (that isn't advertised as a service for foreigners) without having to speak Japanese, but I've already run into problems. I tried setting up with Otegal (I live in Kumamoto), and after finishing the application, they sent me an email informing me to cancel the application if I don't speak Japanese. Like I said, I would rather not have to go with the "foreign friendly" services and pay 6,000 yen when I could pay 2,000 instead. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
**UPDATE**
Went with So-net, so imma see how that goes.
