Is it acceptable to ask a ryokan to book restaurant reservations, etc?

We are visiting Kyushu in October. I would like to ask our ryokan in Karatsu to make a lunch restaurant reservation and arrange a private driver for one day for us. Is this proper etiquette or will we be imposing on them?
