Hello. Another day and another Itinerary review request :). Was hoping I could get help from all you lovely internet people on suggestions for this rough itinerary.
This will be my wife and our first international trip with the baby, and my first trip to Japan. My wife has been to Tokyo before. Couple things I wanted to add was that we wanted to go to Tokyo Disney and wanted a day for a traditional Ryokan experience including Kaiseiki. Was thinking of doing that at Kyoto or Hakone. The purpose of this trip for us is to eat, shop, and relax whenever we can!
Dates of travel will be early December for 14-days.
Day 1-5: Tokyo. Would include a day for Tokyo Disney
Day 6-8: Kyoto. Would include day trip to Nara and maybe a night at a Ryokan or alternatively stay in Hakone for a day in between Tokyo and Kyoto.
Day 9-12: Osaka.
Day 13-14: Back to Tokyo.
I know people say to not stay in both Kyoto and Osaka and just use one as a home base, but I felt like this would create less travel times between the 2-places as there's lots we felt like we wanted to do and see in both cities.
Just wanted to get a sanity check here/see if anyone had any Ryokan experiences that would fit well into this itinerary.
