Hey all, sorry if this is not allowed. I will be headed to Kyoto university to study for one semester in the coming term, however i was recently notified that they won’t be able to provide me with any university housing. So I am trying to look for convenient locations to stay which are somewhat near the university ( within either 20 mins by train, bus, bike), and also convenient for travelling around japan (as I plan on heading to tokyo/ osaka and other places during the weekends). Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated, thank you!
