Hi everyone, i am planning a second solo trip to Japan in December/January this year (for one month). For context, in my previous visit i went along the Golden Route (Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Nara) so i want to avoid doing that again.
I'm torn between 2 options:
1) staying in tokyo for the whole stay (with some day trips)
2) trying a different route than before exploring a bunch of places (although i would want to spend at least 2-3 days at each stop)
Which one would you recommend (along with potential itineraries for the section option)?
I was originally thinking of going around Kyushu but it's less desirable because of the weather (would prefer spring/automn), same stands for Hokkaido
