In Kurashiki City, Okayama, around dusk, a driver waiting at a red light witnessed a shocking scene — a car driving the wrong way down a one-lane road at high speed.
The person who filmed the video said, “I was sure it was going to crash.” The wrong-way car nearly collided with an oncoming black car but squeezed through a narrow space to keep going.
According to witnesses, the wrong-way driver appeared to be a man in his 70s. He stopped next to the black car and gestured at the other driver, seemingly telling them to back up.
The black car eventually moved to let him pass. Instead of returning to the correct lane, the wrong-way driver entered a nearby home improvement store’s parking lot.
Meanwhile, in Kitsuki City, Oita Prefecture, another unusual sight was caught on camera — an electric wheel chair ridden by a woman in her 80's slowly driving down the middle of the road.
