Any advice on buying a used car? Looking at a Suzuki Palette with 43,000 kms, but it’s from 2009.

I'm not a car person. I keep finding these fairly cheap older cars with decently lot kilometers on it and don't know if it's a good deal or not. Are these older cars now likely to have other issues even if the kilometers are low?
