
On the morning of July 31st, four men in work clothes suddenly attacked two Chinese men with metal pipes on a street in Kanda, Tokyo, and then fled the scene.
Around 9:00 AM, a witness called 110 after seeing the assault in Kanda-Sudacho, Chiyoda Ward. The Tokyo Metropolitan Police reported that the four assailants struck the two Chinese men with metal pipes without provocation and then escaped.
The two victims sustained injuries, including bleeding from their foreheads, but their lives are not in danger. The attackers reportedly drove off in the direction of JR Akihabara Station, and the police are currently searching for them.
