  1. Hmm, this post seems to violate rule 7 /s 😉

Serious question: The Osaka Expo is almost over. Let’s speculate: will media coverage after the event focus on positive outcomes, or cost overruns. And on which side will the major political parties land?

  2. Any air conditioning experts here?

One of my air conditioners cools the room it’s in, but doesn’t dehumidify. When it’s hot and humid outside the air conditioner keeps the room at 23 C, yet the humidity will go as high as 75% and almost no water goes out the drain hose.

I can’t understand how this can be physically possible. If a humid room is being cooled, a lot of water should be condensed.

*I even replaced the air conditioner and still have the same experience.*

I don’t think the drain is blocked, because I had it checked by a technician. He poured water into the pan and it drained freely out the hose.

In another room, the air conditioner cools the room to 23 C and maintains the humidity around 55%. Water steadily flows from the drain hose.

    Any thoughts?
