1. Not gonna lie, I’m pretty surprised by this

   South Korea’s president is a liberal; in South Korean politics, they’re ethno-nationalists that wants stronger ties with North Korea simply because they’re ethnic Koreans and they want to be “tough” on Japan due to the colonial period.

   He has made some stupid remarks as well, for example, saying that Japan should’ve been divided after WWII, instead of Korea

   So yup, pretty surprising
