Ok so last time I seemed like I was crying about a bad deal for NYC delivery sushi – now I want to make it very clear that I’m pretty happy about this deal but people might say it’s still a rip off.
$30 total for delivery of a $29 DIY hand roll set from Towa Sushi ($100+ on google) near flatiron. I used a 25% off on orders at least $25. I was able to make 8 similarly sized hand rolls (see pics) + had left over rice to eat with the cucumber and tamago slices they included in the box (middle compartment) I was really satisfied after this. 🥹🤤😋
From left to right – toro, ikura, yellow tail, salmon. Nori tasted freshly toasted. I will say that I wish there was a bit more fish and that I’ve had better rice at kazu nori and Mari.ne buuuuuut for a lunch time work week door dash I don’t think I can complain that much…
Would you say this is a deal?

Looks good but what is up with NYC and these weird paper boxes for sushi takeout?
I’d be tickled to get that out here in East BFE.
Pulling it in NYC is a steal!
Looks like an excellent lunch tbh
Would smash.
That’s a killer deal and fresh looking fish.
I think Towa is one of the better places that deliver
Great way for restaurants to make better money with scraps. 😂
Off topic but I have those scissors too

Just $1 for delivery + fees + tip?? Fees alone could have been $29 in some places lol
I think I’m going to get this delivered for lunch tomorrow 😍
30 seems okay, but I think I can get better quality fish from Japanese groceries.
Yes, 100% a deal.
Can you go to the restaurant to get this?
Uhhh…
Google says they are not open for lunch?
