Fun fact: the deer in Nara are basically tick delivery services. I see tourists petting them all the time, but really, you’re just signing up to take some passengers home. When it’s kids, I really want to warn the parents… then I remember it’s not my kid, not my problem. There’s a reason Japanese people usually keep their hands to themselves.
