I've been living my university life in beppu as an international student. Getting a job was difficult and was only able to land a job in kunisaki as a translator in a factory. I just moved here and my expectations of japan is shattered. I'm not sure if I can stay here for more than a year before tenshoku. I'm confident in ny japanese but still failed a 2nd time in N2. Not giving up in it, and is still trying to get a passing grade next time! I want to know what I should expect. I'm worried of isolation and depression. The nearest konbini is a 20 minute walk, its pitch black by 7pm, and everything is silent. I have been concerned about this for the past 4 months (before moving) and today is my first night here. I've been playing video games and make artworks to cope but idk if there's any other things that can fill that loneliness. I'd want to know if there are tips on how to live here and when is the best time to tenshoku as a fresh graduate. Thank you so much!
