Where can I find yarn shops in Kyoto?

Does anyone know good places in Kyoto that sell a large selection of yarn for knitting/crocheting?
I’m looking for shops with many different types and colors available.
Cheaper options would be even better, but I’d prefer something other than 100-yen stores like Daiso or Seria.

  1. I walk often in front of those two:

    – Kin no Hitsuji

    – Yamaguchi Chubee

    They are almost in front of each other. Might be worth a look. 

  2. There was a big one in the basement floor of the Yodobashi building. Not sure if it’s still there?
