Beach day in September

A couple weeks ago I was asking for beach recommendations and everybody was onto me about how August marks the end of ‘official beach time’ in japan which really made me feel oh maybe I should have gone to the beach in august after all instead of waiting for the heat to come down in September so that the locals don’t look at me weird. And some other people were warning me about the jellyfish. So I really thought the beaches are gonna deserted at mid-September.

But guess what, we reach Yuigahama and everyone’s having a jolly good time at the beach, swimming, surging, sailing, barbecue, you name it. We had a blast as well but those comments really had me stressed out leading up to the weekend. And the heat was bearable, the water was a colder than expected but refreshing all the same.
