I know this question has been asked a few times but I can't really find many actual recommendations.
I messed up and my girlfriend who I had been wanting to break up with for a while got pregnant. I know, this is all my fault and we should have broken up a long time ago, but unfortunately I cannot change it now. I just want to talk to a lawyer so I know what my options are. Marrying for the baby with a potential divorce down the line later vs breaking up now. For what it's worth, I'm not trying to get off the hook of being a dad, I am willing to pay child support or whatever I need to do, and I would want to visit as much I would be allowed to.
I have read various threads of people talking about divorce, but if anyone has any experience or insight about the not marrying option, or suggestions for a good lawyer who could help me understand my options better, it would be appreciated.
