My dermapen is being held by customs?

So I ordered a dermapen (my old one broke) it’s being held by customs because it’s considered a medical device here.

I was told I need a doctor’s letter or prescription to get it released, and my Japanese doctor said she can’t write me a note.

Does anyone have recommendations? It was literally $200 and is for cosmetic purposes, and is available over the counter in my country 😭
