I’m heading to Tokyo landing on the 24th October, atm it’s booked for 2 weeks but it’s been a dream for years so I booked flexi flights just in case. I’m working on learning as much Japanese as I can as I’d really like to be social and experience the culture both in day time and nightlife, that being said any hidden but still tourist friendly things you guys have found would be great to have some recommendations, and if anyone is out there at the same time be great to experience some new things together

Hi, I’m a Japanese.
I think Your plan is very good.
Osaka is a well known big city.
Takoyaki and Okonomiyaki are delicious.
But I rather recommend to visit Nara.
It has many historic sites to see.
Have a nice trip.
Hey! I’m also going around the same time! Message me. I only know English!

Kobe
Personal preference but as Kyoto is only 30 minutes from Osaka I prefer Kyoto > Hiroshima > Osaka > Tokyo to split up your longest travel day of Hitrosima to Tokyo.
Kurama was my favorite part of visiting Kyoto
Hiroshima should to be done between Kyoto and Osaka to avoid a lot of travel time back to Tokyo.
Hidden gems are the ones you consider that and found exploring or researching on your own, not what random people think.
