More than 1.3 mil. Osaka expo tickets remain unused before Oct. end

Over 1.3 million tickets for the 2025 World Exposition in Osaka remain unused with less than a month left before the event ends on October 13. The Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition will not refund tickets, as the lack of available reservation slots does not constitute grounds for a refund.

  1. Apparently a chunk of those are tickets bought in bulk by companies early on as a kind of show of support for the Expo

    There’s still a large number of people who have tickets but can’t get a date though which really, really sucks.
