I would like some advice/suggestions to hopefully get a good balance of seeing things that are new as well as "classic" Japan things. Because I lived in Kyoto for 4 years it makes it hard to decide where to go, especially since Kyoto is now become a hot spot for tourists I don't know where less people might congregate so feel free to send me a DM for spots if you've been recently and don't want the web to know lol

The things I'm having trouble deciding are also what day to do a tea ceremony in one of the cities.
Also when to go to:
koenji pal shopping street (Tokyo)
2D Cafe (Tokyo)
Peanuts Cafe (Tokyo)
Maruki Gallery (Outside of Tokyo)
Ozu Washi (Tokyo)
Places we want to go that are found in every city:
Arcade (Taito/Round One), Book Off, Animate, Mandarake, Tower Records, Don Quiojte, Loft, Tokyu Hands, Stationary/Art Store, Tea Stores.
Any help is much appreciated 🙏
I've traveled across Japan by myself before so I'm pretty comfortable using the public transportation and walking/leading the group. Just time management is a concern
