I'm an engineer that will move to Osaka soon. I'm interested in picking up some kind of part-time lecturing role within my subfield (environmental, health, computer science) and have a bachelors and masters in a STEM field. I am also published (20+ papers currently, more in the works) with ~400-500 citations.
I'm wondering how hard it would be to pick up some kind of part-time lecturer/research scientist role in Osaka? I went to the University of Tokyo and they have some part-time roles for English-speaking researchers—can I have a similar expectation for the University of Osaka and/or other universities in the Osaka area? Thank you.

Why don’t you try the universities directly?
