‘Hero’s Island’: Okinawa-set epic is lavishly realized but lacks bite

1. I haven’t seen the movie, but the first thing I’ve noticed is the lack of Okinawan cast. It’s ridiculously white washed.

2. Has anyone seen this? Three hours is a commitment, lol. Wondering if it is worth it for a rainy day.

3. Curious about this one. Does anyone know if it is playing anywhere with English subtitles?
