Hello everyone,
I'm currently a student at one of the top schools in Tokyo. I'm trying to break into IB/Consulting, but my main concern is what the Japanese requirements are like for foreign banks/companies, since my Japanese is not that good yet. I figured that since they are foreign banks, N2 might be sufficient or sometimes may not even be relevant to the work. In my perspective, the main way people are going to get a job is by doing internships in their third year and hope for a return offer. I figure I could get N2 by the time I get to the summer of third year, but I'm not really sure if those banks would even consider that enough for an internship, let alone a full-time offer.
So if anyone is a professional or has any knowledge regarding this matter, please let me know. I deeply appreciate it!
Thank you!
