I recently changed jobs, and with it required a visa change. My higher up and I, started my visa change application a week ago. But I'm very close to just quitting my job. It was fine at first, and my coworkers are lovely but I was fed lies when it came to expectations and I'm doing something different to the role I applied for. And I'm not getting breaks as I should. I'm honestly not bothered about legalities of the matter. I just want to leave asap. Can I just quit, even after my change of residence/visa has just started? Or secretly find another job before just quitting once one is secured? I'm changing from Instructor visa to the humanities visa. I'm in Hiroshima, if that helps. Thanks for any insight/advice. 🙏
