Does anyone know if the N3 kanji list on kanji companion is sufficient for the N3 test? E.g if I learn N5-N3 from that list should it be enough for the N3 exam?

Also, I'm aware that the test doesn't have a writing component. Does anyone know if there is another test outside of jlpt that includes writing?
Thanks
