My album *Postcards* (2018) features this postcard on its cover — I bought it on an auction site in my country. This year, I finally got to close the circle.

To give you a bit more context, Postcards was my first tribute album to Japanese ambient music.

It was listened to by millions of people and propelled my musical project to new heights, allowing me to release it on vinyl and create two sequels.

The entire album was composed 18,000 kilometers away, dreaming of being in Kyoto… until we finally made it.
