One year after moving into Japan, just renewed my zairyu card on 9/30
Tried to apply for Rakuten and got rejected
I'm 20 and this is my first credit card, and I have no idea how things work, so it might just be another case of person who reviewed having a bad day situation
But I have a concern, back when I just arrived I got myself a pocket wifi, with a contract for the internet, however since I just came and didn't have a bank account or anything set up, could only pay through konbini. Stupid thing is I never asked how to pay through konbini, and all I got looking online is I'm supposed to have a number and never got said number, so I couldn't pay the monthly bill and forgot about it not long after, I really have no idea how things work and was just wondering if this could have affected things since a quick search online says it could?
Tldr; is my credit application cooked cause I forgot about an internet bill for a year
