We are supposed to leave Japan tomorrow morning at 9am with ANA, going to Frankfurt.
We just received a mail from ANA, informing us that – quote –
Flight NH0223(Tokyo(Haneda)-Frankfurt) departing on 10/09 may be affected by Typhoon.
The situation may change depending on the path and speed of typhoon in the future.
– end quote-
Now this sounds like may or may not, we are however a bit worried as we have like no real information on the status of our flight, 7 hours before departing to the airport and 10 hours before the flight is supposed to take off.
Is this a rather generic warning so they can later say “we warned you”, or should we actually adjust plans to stay longer in Tokyo? Has anyone from any other airline received such a warning?
Thanks for any input!
