U.S. citizens living in Japan, in which country do you intend to spend the rest of your days?

As the title states, I'm interested in whether other United States citizens living in Japan are considering staying in Japan permanently or eventually moving back to the U.S., and whether that decision has changed recently due to events in either country. Of course, there are other countries in the world, but speaking for myself, I'm no spring chicken anymore, and these two countries are my only realistic options, hence my interest in what others are thinking.
