This is right after Goto came back from his excursion.
He was a much-needed fresh face for the heavyweight scene.
OH
I find it kind of cool how similar in many ways New Japan looks now compared to almost 20 years ago, like I’m not sure if it’s because the lighting is the same or the cameras being in HD here (I think) but it really is interesting to me that sometimes I can’t tell how old some footage is just based on how similar it looks to today
