Anyone done it? It looks like a total scam. I can’t find the pricing without giving them my phone number but it states that meetings “start at 1990yen” so basically you are collectively paying an app 8-10k to “match” you with 3-4 people at a random coffee shop (you pay for your coffee)

It probably works as long as you’re attractive and/or have money.
Speaking of ads I am bombarded with payday loans for 500k yen as long as you have a license. I am not in debt at all except for the monthly credit card bills lol

I somehow manage to avoid the worst of it, perhaps by using the right tools… newest iOS has a thing to report sms spam , dunno if it actually prevents spam.
I either get Rocket Now or uncanny valley AI videos about their magical investment LINE groups.

I’m not bombarded with it but yes I’ve seen it. They’re trying to fill the void here, selling us foreigners other foreigners so that we could talk and feel less lonely. Basically, it’s a Meetup or a Facebook group, just more expensive. I don’t know, maybe they act as a matchmaker, screen ppl and have “better” foreigners and charge for that? 🙂 you gotta go try and report back
Yep, Kin Connect and Timeleft have realized that I have few friends and bombard me with IG ads. Has anyone ever tried them? I admit I’m curious… but also shy. and lazy.
