What Degree(s) are good for biomedical related, industry R&D careers in Japan ?

I'm doing a Biomedical Science Bachelors degree (honours) in UK, thinking about pursuing masters via the MEXT scholarship and subsequently phd in Japan, and eventually working there.

what degrees lead to the career type mentioned in the title ?

Also will the fact that I'm doing Biomedical Science in UK be a hinderance to pursuing masters and phds in degrees that are good for R&D ?
