Driving License Conversion (South Asian)

Hello Everyone! I know that there’s a lot of threads with similar questions but I specifically wanted to check if anyone has completed a Driving License Conversion after the rules changed on the 1st of October.

I landed in Japan beginning of last month and I have an International Driving License from Sri Lanka which is valid for another 11 months.

I have also got an appointment for the ‘Interview’ at the Yamaguchi General Traffic Center on the 24th of this month. I believe I will get a date for the exam after my documents are reviewed.

I got the mock papers with the 50 questions and answers (I think that the paper that I have received is the one that is given to the people applying for the license from scratch) I will attach an image of this in the comments. I can also share a PDF of the whole document if anyone wants it.

I’ve been studying hard but I am not able to find any information regarding the actual exam after it was changed from 10 to 50 questions.

Can anyone enlighten me on the entire process if you have been through it?
