1. Anyone have an archive link to NHK’s article debunking a bunch of claims against foreign residents back in July-ish? It seems to have disappeared from the NHK website, and it had a lot of useful graphs that were much more understandable than the source data from the various Ministries.

2. I live in a residential area in Tokyo and it’s weird seeing tourists pretty much everyday. Like I’m not complaining because they don’t affect my daily life or anything but you’d never see any tourists around before the Covid pandemic. From couples to whole groups of families with kids it’s weird. Also I don’t know why they are around since there’s nothing or nowhere around that is really noteworthy. I’m guessing AirBnB.

3. Stupid question: why does rent keep going up in Tokyo despite population of Japan decreasing?

   Yen inflation making construction expensive? Tokyo population increasing despite JP as a nation decreasing? other things?

4. Asked this same question a few days ago but didn’t get an answer:

   Recommendations for large item removal (like large appliances and things that are too big for regular sodai gomi) companies in Tokyo? Places you DON’T recommend are also useful!

   I need someone to haul and dispose a busted sectional sofa and remove/dispose an AC unit, possibly a few other large items too.

   Bonus points if they 英語を話す, but that’s not an absolute requirement.

5. Any one had any experience / suggestions for medicine or other Tokyo-Based solutions to deal with Panic Attacks? Overwhelming Anxiety feelings due to unknown reasons.

   Been a little more than 10 days of just no productivity at all due to Panic Attacks with no clear trigger.

   Signed up for Tell, but it is a few weeks process to start it.
