I'm currently on a student visa in Japan (on exchange). I might have a short-term remote gig at my home university, which means I'll be working for a foreign company with a short-term contract that pays me in a foreign account (so no Japanese companies/institutions are involved).
Does this kind of work count for the visa work restriction?
