Up before the crack of dawn this morning and it was just lovely outside. A little cloudy, cool, quiet af… The only thing missing was a coffee in hand and the beach back home in front of me.
Start and finish 90mins earlier today. Thank you flex time.
I like the pre-winter weather. When the air is dryer, blue sky, can dress with cool jackets.

I woke up cold this morning. That’s a good thing. I can finally turn off my AC completely and leave my windows open.
I was denied for an Amazon Mastercard. After that I tried to apply online for the EPOS card but their form is broken and doesn’t allow alphabet at all (including full width) so I couldn’t get past the first screen. But I got approved for a PayPay card pretty easily! I’ve never needed a credit card before and only really want it for one or two things now, but I’m happy to get one. Now I’m going to switch mobile providers to get away from Rakuten Mobile (the old docomo MVNO one).
finally it snowed nearby. as a fan of winter this made my day bit better.

bought roasted chestnuts from furusato nozei this year. they came in yesterday, and they are gooood.
biannual evals went well, so bonus is probably going to be pretty decent.
made more rice krispie treats, put kaki no tane in them this time. everyone was raving about how good they were. one office ojisan called them “innovative” no less than 10 times, which I’m not sure about, really, but love his enthusiasm.
oshikatsu can get real sketchy at times but…god when it’s good it’s *gooood*. I get why people throw tons of money at this shit.
I love my local card game shop. It’s like Cheers when I walk in there. I play Lorcana, but I’m friendly with the Pokemon and Magic players as well. Everyone is super friendly and welcoming. Tencho knows I’m into horror so last night he lent me a few of his old horror DVDs. Such a different vibe compared to the bigger places like Yellow Sub.
Unrelated to cards, but I’m also loving all of the sweet potato sweets and ice cream out now.
Took kanji kentei pre 2 on Sunday. 6 months of grinding especially the final month and a half. Can safely say I probably passed with a score of 171/200.
My hubby has been a great support this week and I have a lot of work so I am happy!
