studying in japan fresh out of high school?

i am 19 years old and graduated over a year ago. i’ve gone to japan and i loved everything about it. im aware it’s not all sunshine’s and rainbows but i really want to study there.

i’m a bit confused on how to start though. i’d want to learn japanese but also maybe get a diploma in something art related (especially animation) as i was in art school a few months ago. is this realistic? i’m sorry if this is too broad , i’m just very confused.

i met an american man in japan that said he moved there and worked as an english teacher but said there was no way i could move there without a bachelors degree.

can i go there to LEARN without a bachelors degree? i’ve sent some emails to gogonihon after i saw an advertisement for them. i have enough money i think for flying there and back.

i’ve done some research on some schools there and would estimate tuition to be around 15k for one year? does this sound right? again i’m sorry if this is too broad. thank you
