Kind of a weird question that might have been answered a hundred times now, but I'm prepping to move back to the USA come late July/early August. I want to ship various items that I have had for over a year while living in Japan to the United States and receive them at my address in the USA once I arrive.
I was looking into using Japan Post and its International Postal Parcel with the sea option, and I'm trying to understand how this applies to my situation. None of the goods I plan to move are intended as gifts or as things that I will sell for consumption. Am I still allowed to ship them via post parcel/will Japan Post accept the package? If so, what should I label as the content type in the International Mail My Page Service when declaring what's in the package? It's none of the stated types of Gift, Document, Commercial Sample, Sale of Goods, or Returned Goods, leaving only the ambiguous "Other" as an answer. Would this be the correct answer to give?
